Artist Le Ba Dang presented his 68 art works, including 11 sculpture works and 57 oil paintings to the Thua Thien – Hue Provincial People’s Committee on June 7 for exhibition at Hue Festival.

 All of these works, which feature the national unity and solidarity, are now on display at an exhibition entitled ‘Hundreds of Faces, One Word’ at the Le Ba Dang Art Centre.

 Artist Le Ba Dang, born in 1921 in the central province of Quang Tri, graduated from the Toulouse Art Institute and was considered as one of the world’s most famous painters by Cambridge University in 1992. He was also awarded the Culture and Arts order by the French Ministry of Culture in 1994 and the Resistance War Medal during the anti-US War for National Salvation by the Vietnam Fatherland Front in 2005.
